Our practice works with all patient's that are age six and up. If you have a child younger than the age of six who needs an appointment, we would recommend finding an optometrist or ophthalmologist that specializes in pediatric care.
The only surgical procedure we perform is the removal of foreign objects from the eye. If, during an examination, we see that there is a need for a surgical procedure beyond that, we will refer you to a specialist that we trust to continue your care.
While visiting our office, you'll hear some terminology that may or may not sound familiar. While both Dr. Donna Hogan and Dr. Timothy Hogan are great at answering questions and will help you understand what is going on with your eyes, they also find it helpful to provide access to this information. Below is a link to a page from the National Eye Institute detailing some common eye conditions and diseases.

We acknowledge that it can be very inexpensive to order glasses online, and for some this can be a decent option for simple prescriptions or spare glasses. But, if your eyes require a more complex prescription or you wear multi-focal lenses (bifocals, trifocals, or progressive), we recommend purchasing your glasses at a retail location, where someone can help properly fit and fabricate your eyeglasses. At Hogan Eye Associates, we can vouch that our optical staff are both certified with the American Board of Opticianry. This means that they have the experience and knowledge to, not only help select and fit lenses and frames to work smoothly with your lifestyle, but also provide future care as you continue to wear your customized eyewear.
